Paul W S Anderson’s latest videogame-to-movie adaptation is getting a disc release in the UK this September.
It’s a very well worn cliché when it comes to describing movies, but there’s not much way around it when it comes to Paul W S Anderson’s latest film. It’s called Monster Hunter, and it does exactly what it says on the box. It involves monsters, and they are duly hunted.
The film is based on the Capcom videogame series, and we had to wait a long time for its Covid-delayed UK cinema release. Still, it landed on screens around the UK a few weeks ago, and so now Sony can press ahead with its home formats release too.
It’s been revealed that Monster Hunter will be getting a DVD, Blu-ray and 4K Ultra HD Blu-ray outing in the UK on September 20th 2021. We’re expecting extra features on the release, but couldn’t tell you a thing about them at the moment. More details are expected in due course.
For now, you can find the listing for the film and order yourself a copy right here.
