Superhero sequel Shazam! Fury Of The Gods has a new trailer – it’s full of tense music, big CGI action scenes, and creatures that look like dragons…
The new trailer for Shazam! Fury Of The Gods ticks all of the expected boxes for a superhero film trailer. Intense battle music, big CGI action scenes, and more big CGI action scenes. While the first trailer reintroduced Shazam (real name Billy Batson) and his team of super-powered superheroes, this time we get more of a look at the abilities of their foes.
The daughters of Atlas – Hespera (Helen Mirren) and Calypso (Lucy Liu) – must be stopped from using a weapon (seemingly a magical staff of sorts) that will destroy the world. From the trailer, it seems they blame Billy for misusing the powers of the Gods. Chaos and destruction ensues, and it looks like the two women also have a dragon-like creature at their disposal.
Zachary Levi returns as Shazam, with Asher Angel as Billy Batson. Also among the cast are Djimon Hounsou, Jack Dylan Grazer, Rachel Zegler, and Ross Butler.
Here’s the trailer –
Shazam! Fury Of The Gods is in cinemas on 17th March.
