Pennywise: The Story Of It will explore the 1990 miniseries adaptation of It, and it’s getting a DVD release next month.
Kaleidoscope Home Entertainment has acquired the UK distribution rights for Pennywise: The Story of IT, which explores the hit 1990 mini-series, which is based on Stephen King’s iconic horror novel.
Co-directed by John Campopiano and Christopher Griffiths (the latter of whom has also directed the long, long in gestation RoboDoc), the film features interviews with Pennywise himself, Tim Curry, as well as Seth Green, Richard Thomas and director Tommy Lee Wallace.
The film covers many topics, including it’s impact on audiences with coulrophobia (the fear of clowns) to Curry’s iconic portrayal of the terrifying title character.
Pennywise: The Story Of It will be released on DVD and Blu-Ray on the 24th October and can be pre-ordered here
