An as yet untitled feature will follow escapades at a wedding, with Reese Witherspoon and Will Ferrell leading the ensemble.
While plot details are being kept under wraps, what we do know is that Witherspoon and Ferrell will take on the leading roles in a brand new wedding comedy, which was acquired by Amazon after a frenzied bidding war earlier in the year.
Writing and directing is Nicholas Stoller. His next film is due to be released shortly. Bros is co-written by Stoller and Billy Eichner and directed by Stoller. We reported earlier this month that the trailer had been released, and that it looks to be the first major studio rom-com to cover a gay relationship.
Bros is due to be released on the 30th September. No release date has been revealed for the wedding comedy, but we’ll keep you updated as we hear more.
