Live action and animation will combine in adult comedy Animal Friends, with Ryan Reynolds starring. Details here.
Live action and animation are usually associated with family films like Who Framed Roger Rabbit? and Space Jam, but Animal Friends is set to buck that trend.
Plot details are being kept under wraps, but writing duo Kevin Burrows and Matt Mider have penned the script, which will be directed by Peter Atencio and is described as “an R-rated road trip adventure”.
Ryan Reynolds, Jason Momoa, Vince Vaughn and Aubrey Plaza will headline the film.
