Samuel L Jackson and Vincent Cassel will lead the cast of serial killer thriller Damaged, here are the first details.
Samuel L Jackson is heading back to what looks to be the kind of genre film he headlined in the 1990s, with the likes of The Negotiator and The Long Kiss Goodnight for the upcoming movie, Damaged. Vincent Cassel is well known for playing intense characters, not least in the controversial and near impossible to watch Irreversible. He’s on board too.
Damaged is described as a serial killer thriller in which “a Chicago detective goes to Scotland after an emerging serial killer’s crimes match those that he investigated five years earlier, one of which was the crime scene of his murdered girlfriend”.
Jackson and Cassel will headline the film, alongside Kate Dickie, Gianni Capaldi and John Hannah.
Terry McDonagh, who amongst other things directed the terrific Doctor Who docudrama An Adventure In Space and Time, will be behind the camera.
