If you’ve always dreamed of owning all of the Sharknado films in one, neat box set, we have some great news for you.
Sharknado – The Ultimate Collection will be released on Blu-Ray on 26 February 2024. The box set will contain all six Sharknado films as well as a ton of extras, spread over four discs.
If you’ve never had the pleasure of watching any of the Sharknado films, here’s what you need to know: there are sharks. In a tornado.
That’s it. And honestly, what more could you even want?!
The first Sharknado film was released in 2013 and received mildly positive reviews, as did the first sequel in 2014. After that, the franchise seemingly fell off a cliff a little bit, but the series has got a relatively loyal fan base who are always up for more weather-related shark action.
The franchise stars Ian Ziering and Tara Reid as husband and wife, who just seem to find these bloody tornadoes infested with sharks everywhere they go. As you may have gathered, the films defy all logic and laws of nature and physics, but they are also a ton of fun. That being said, the plots don’t make a lick of sense and the CGI is dreadful, but that’s also part of the charm.
