Get your first glimpse of Thor: Love And Thunder right here, ahead of its UK release on 8th July.
Marvel has released a first look at the upcoming Thor: Love and Thunder, which will be arriving later this summer. Taika Waititi directs once again following 2017’s Thor: Ragnarok, his much-loved first outing which continued the adventures of the God of Thunder.
The new film picks up events following Avengers: Endgame and finds the mighty Thor trying to figure out what to do with himself now that the universe has been saved, until his ‘retirement’ is interrupted by a galactic killer known as Gorr the God Butcher (Christian Bale), who seeks the extinction of the gods.
The latest entry in the series looks like it’ll continue in the irreverent style of Ragnarok, which was quite the stylistic u-turn after the muted response to 2013’s Thor: The Dark World. We’ve covered the production of that particular film in this week’s Film Stories podcast, which you can find here.
Chris Pratt, Matt Damon, Tessa Thompson, Dave Bautista, Vin Diesel, Pom Klementieff, Sean Gunn, Karen Gillan, Melissa McCarthy, Jaimie Alexander and Russell Crowe co-star in the film. It’s quite the cast, and we’re looking forward to seeing them in action.

Thor: Love And Thunder is in UK cinemas on 8th July.
