On Valentine’s Day, The Lost Boys get a re-release in UK cinemas.
Warner Bros has been enjoying some success with 4K remasters of its films, that it then puts out into cinemas. Lasy year, we had The Matrix, Gremlins and Batman. Each of these got a wide re-release on one night in UK cinemas before a disc release.
Whilst a 4K disc of The Lost Boys hasn’t been announced, there’s a fair bit it’s on the stove, with the news that The Lost Boys is getting a one-day cinema outing this week It’s been scheduled for February 14th 2020, and we’d expect it to be in a good 300 screens or so.
If and when we hear news of a fresh disc release, we’ll let you know.
