The cast for the planned Knives Out sequel just won’t stop growing, with yet another addition to its already packed ranks.
We have yet another casting announcement for the hugely-anticipated planned sequel to Knives Out. The original of course was a hugely successful whodunnit, directed by Rian Johnson and starring Daniel Craig as super sleuth extraordinaire, Benoit Blanc. We know that Craig will be reprising his role as Blanc in the sequel, indeed, it was one of Netflix’s key conditions when it agreed to purchase the rights to two sequels for a reported (and eye-watering) $400m.
Now, the latest star to join Craig in the ensemble cast is Iron Fist’s and Love And Monsters’ Jessica Henwick, who will next be seen starring opposite Keanu Reeves and company in the upcoming fourth instalment of The Matrix series. Henwick joins Kate Hudson, Kathryn Hahn, Dave Bautista, Madelyn Cline, Janelle Monae, Leslie Odom Jr. and Edward Norton in an increasingly impressive line-up.
Can this cast grow any more? We certainly hope so, although our only concern is that as a Netflix production, viewing this movie on a small screen won’t leave enough room to fit this many stars onto the screen. The film is set to shoot this summer in Greece so it’ll be a good while before we get to see it, but consider us very excited. You can rest assured we’ll bring you more news on the Knives Out sequel as we hear it.
