Tom & Jerry are to do battle in a new blockbuster, that’s heading to the UK to shoot.

A new film, that’ll mix live action and animation, is set to film in the UK later this year. It’s a Warner Bros production, on conjunction with Hanna-Barbera, and the film will see Jerry the mouse trying to scare off a family who movies into the house where he lives. All the while doing battle with the cat – that’d be Tom – that said family bring in to get rid of him.
Tim Story (Ride Along) had been in negotiations to direct the film, although it’s unclear whether he’s since signed on the dotted line. He’s just completed work on the new take on Shaft.
More as we get it.
