Clive Barker’s Hellraiser is getting a limited re-release in UK cinemas in September: more on the news here.
Here’s some welcome re-release news. We’ve had a flurry of films heading back into cinemas this year for fresh outings, and now we learn that Clive Barker’s Hellraiser – the original one! – is on the list!
Arrow Films is behind the re-release, and is planning to put it back into UK cinemas on September 22nd. Currently, the release is listed for under 25 screens across the UK, so you might have to hunt this one down. Furthermore, just to add to the limited odds of finding a screening near you, this is playing back in cinemas for one day only.
But hey! It’s better than nothing at all, and given that not many people have had the pleasure of Hellraiser on a cinema screen, then it’s at least some chance to be able to do so. Who knows? If it goes well, further screenings may not be too far behind.
