Glass Onion: A Knives Out Mystery will be released just before Christmas, and here’s the first trailer.
What a delight Knives Out turned out to be. From Rian Johnson’s whip smart script to Daniel Craig’s detective with a Southern drawl, the film played into the tropes of the genre while simultaneously playing with them.
Now, we get to watch a new mystery unfold in Glass Onion: A Knives Out Mystery.
Very little is known about the plot, except that it will see Detective Benoit Blanc work his way through another gang of suspects after a murder occurs, this time on the boat of a teenage millionaire
Craig reprises his role as Blanc, alongside Edward Norton, Ethan Hawke, Janelle Monae, Kathryn Hahn, Leslie Odom Jr, Jessica Henwick, Madelyn Cline, Kate Hudson and Dave Bautista.
Rian Johnson once again directs from a screenplay he wrote.
Glass Onion: A Knives Out Mystery. will get a limited theatrical release as part of the London Film Festival, which will also show the film in a handful of venues around the UK in October. You can find details here.
