Jennifer Lopez reinvents herself as an assassin in Netflix action thriller The Mother – here’s the full trailer.
After a few uneven films, Jennifer Lopez is on a winning streak. Receiving acclaim for her performance in 2019’s Hustlers, now she looks to push herself even further in The Mother.
The official synopsis reads as follows:
While fleeing from dangerous assailants, an assassin comes out of hiding to protect her daughter she left earlier in life.
Lopez stars alongside Joseph Fiennes, Lucy Paez, Omari Hardwick, Paul Raci and Gael Garcia Bernal.
Niki Caro, who recently helmed the 2020 live action remake of Mulan, directs from a screenplay by Andrea Berloff, Peter Craig and Misha Green, based on a story by Green.
The Mother will be released on Netflix on the 12th May. Watch the full trailer below:
