Romantic comedy Love, Again will see Celine Dion take on her first film role, and here are the first details.
Celine Dion, who can currently be heard belting out her bestselling hit My Heart Will Go On in another re-release of Titanic, has filmed her first acting role. She’s going to be appearing in Love, Again later this year.
The synopsis for Love, Again reads as follows:
What if a random text message led to the love of your life? In this romantic comedy, dealing with the loss of her fiancé, Mira Ray sends a series of romantic texts to his old cell phone number… not realizing the number was reassigned to Rob Burns’ new work phone. A journalist, Rob is captivated by the honesty in the beautifully confessional texts. When he’s assigned to write a profile of megastar Celine Dion, he enlists her help in figuring out how to meet Mira in person… and win her heart.
Priyanka Chopra Jonas and Sam Heughan headline the film, alongside Russell Tovey, Celia Imrie, Lydia West, Omid Djalili. Dion will play herself.
Jim Strouse directed from a screenplay he adapted from the novel Text For You by Sofie Cramer.
Love, Again will be released on 12th May.
