Emma Corrin cast as villain in Deadpool 3

The Crown star Emma Corrin has reportedly landed the role as villain in the upcoming Deadpool 3: more details here. The long-mooted Deadpool 3 is rapidly coming together, as the main antagonist is cast for the upcoming sequel. Though no plot details have yet been revealed, we do know that, alongside Ryan Reynolds as the wisecracking Deadpool, Hugh Jackman will be back as Wolverine. Emma Corrin has been cast as the main villain in the film. Who or what that villain is? Couldn’t tell you yet. But it’s a clear sign we’re edging towards filming that she’s now aboard. Shawn Levy, with whom Reynolds made Free Guy and The Adam Project, will direct Deadpool 3 from a screenplay by Reynolds’ regular writers Rhett Reese and Paul Wernick. Reese confirmed that, despite being in the MCU, Deadpool 3 would not compromise on their trademark risqué humour and remain R rated or, presumably, 15 in the UK. Deadpool 3 is due to be released on 6th September 2024. More as we hear it.
