Miles Morales is back in Spider-Man: Across The Spider-Verse, and as you’d expect, he’s bringing a fair few wall-crawlers with him.
In a wide field of strong contenders, 2018’s Spider-Man: Into the Spider-Verse is a strong contender for the best Spider-Man film ever made. That leaves no small amount of pressure for the upcoming sequel(s) to contend with. And with the film’s summer 2023 release date moving steadily closer, a new trailer has hurtled into sight to offer us a glimpse of what to expect.
Reassuringly, everything that made the first film such a standout film in the superhero genre looks to be intact, at east as far as the trailer goes. The gorgeous animation, the riot of wildly different Spider-People and most importantly of all, the oodles of heart that characterised the first film are all bursting out of the trailer, raising expectation for that summer release date.
Spider-Man: Across The Spider-Verse is scheduled to hit cinemas on June 2nd 2023, and arrives ahead of the next installment, Spider-Man: Beyond The Spider-Verse on March 29th 2024.
