The long awaited sequel Hocus Pocus 2 finally lands this month, and here’s the full length trailer for the upcoming film.
Hocus Pocus wasn’t a big success when originally released, but over time it’s become the movie many people watch as a matter of tradition every Halloween. With a quotable script and a cast led by Bette Midler (who looks like she is having the absolute time of her life), a sequel has been in talks seemingly since it was released in 1993.
Now, finally, Hocus Pocus 2 is almost upon us, and it’s heading to Disney+ shortly.
The official synopsis reads as follows:
Three young women accidentally bring back the Sanderson Sisters to modern day Salem and must figure out how to stop the child-hungry witches from wreaking havoc on the world.
The terrific trio of Bette Midler, Sarah Jessica Parker and Kathy Najimy return as The Sanderson Sisters, as well as Doug Jones and zombie Billy Butcherson. Newcomers to the cast include Whitney Peak, Lilia Buckingham, Belisa Escobedo, Hannah Waddingham, Tony Hale, Sam Richardson, Juju Brener, Froy Gutierrez, Taylor Paige Henderson and Nina Kitchen.
Anne Fletcher directs from a screenplay by Jen D’Angelo.
Hocus Pocus 2 will stream exclusively on Disney+ from the 30th September. Watch the trailer below…
