Pump up the volume and brace for bass with this week’s film quiz, which features questions about Hans Zimmer soundtracks.

Hans Zimmer and his Remote Control Productions have been putting out scores on an industrial scale over the last decade or two, but few have been more celebrated than 2021’s Dune. With Zimmer back on scoring duties for the long-anticipated Dune: Part Two (read Ryan’s 5-star review here), we’ve given his discography the John Williams treatment in Round 2. On either side, the usual mix of movie-related questions on subjects ranging from director’s birthdays to famous mothers.

Once you’ve completed this week’s film quiz, you’ll find a link to a separate post with the correct answers at the bottom of this post. As always, this is all just for fun, but please let us know how you did in the comments (scores out of 30 this week!) and give us any other lovely feedback. Our audio budget is a bit strapped at the moment, so you’ll just have to imagine the deep horn parp between each question in that Zimmer round.
