I know we always say this, but 2023 has been another banner year for new releases and for Film Quiz Fridays. Thank you to everyone who takes time to play along every week and while this is your last quiz of the year, I’ll be back in 2024 with more Friday film quizness. But first, have a mega-round of questions on the year that was, plus our usual box-office bonus round – you may feel confident about getting at least two points on that one, just remember you need the rest of the top 5 to get all the points…

Can you name any five of the top ten highest-grossing 2023 releases at the UK cinema box office this year? Please note, these are all films released in the UK from 1st January 2023 onwards, NOT including previous 2022 releases like Avatar: The Way Of Water or Matilda: The Musical. All answers are correct as of 22nd December 2023.
Rules and scoring, then – you can pick up to five films and have 1 point for each correct answer that appears anywhere in the top ten, and that’ll get you up to 5 points.
