Eddie Murphy’s second outing as Axel Foley is getting a 4K disc release in May – more details on the release here.
As had been rumoured, Paramount is set to release Beverly Hills Cop II on the 4K Ultra HD Blu-ray format. It’d already been revealed it was coming in the US, and now we learn that a UK release has been inked in too.
On May 16th 2022, the film lands on the format in a package that unusually doesn’t include a Blu-ray disc as well. Eddie Murphy and Judge Reinhold, of course, lead the ensemble of the film, with the late Tony Scott directing.
The 1987 movie has enjoyed a 4K remaster, but it’s unclear what the score is when it comes to extra features. As we found out more there, we’ll let you know.
