There are some heavyweight films lining up to premiere at the upcoming BFI London Film Festival.
We’ve already heard which films will be officially in competition at this year’s BFI London Film Festival and you can see that list here. However, the list of films premiering at the festival has no also been announced and it packs quite the punch. Martin Scorsese’s Killers of the Flower Moon is set to premiere at the festival in October, whilst David Fincher’s The Killer, Yorgos Lanthimos’ recently delayed Poor Things and Alexander Payne’s The Holdovers will all premiere too.
Other films that will feature at this year’s event include Bradley Cooper’s Maestro, Todd Haynes’ May December, starring Natalie Portman and Julianne Moore, and Jeff Nichols’s highly-anticipated The Bikeriders, which stars Austin Butler, Jodie Comer and Tom Hardy. oh, and that’s not forgetting Chicken Run: Dawn of the Nugget.
Whether the ongoing actors’ strike will be over by then looks uncertain at the moment, but even so, that’s still a lot of directorial talent that will be present to promote those films. We’ll bring you more updates on the upcoming event as we hear them.
You can read more about the festival via its website.
