Brian Cox and Kelly Reilly are among the cast of coming of age film Little Wing, a drama heading to Paramount+.
Brian Cox is currently riding high on the huge success of Succession, which netted him a Golden Globe and a pair of Emmy nominations.
He now headlines coming of age drama Little Wing. The plot will follow “Kaitlyn, a 13-year-old girl who, reeling from her parents’ divorce and the pending loss of her home, is drawn into the world of pigeon racing. She hopes to solve her family’s financial woes by stealing a valuable bird, but instead forms a bond with the owner who cultivates her love of the sport”.
Cox will play the trainer opposite Brooklynn Prince as Kaitlyn, with Kelly Reilly as her mother and Che Tafari as her friend Adam.
Dean Israelite is directing from a script by Flight writer John Gatins, based on a New York Times article by Susan Orlean.
Little Wing is currently in production and will be released on Paramount+, we’ll keep you updated as we hear more.
