Clint Eastwood’s final film will be arriving in cinemas next month: here’s the trailer for Juror #2, which has just landed.
We’ve only recently had it confirmed that Clint Eastwood’s final film, Juror #2, will be making its way to the UK before the year is out. Within days of Warner Bros confirming that Clint Eastwood’s final film as director will be landing in UK cinemas on 1st November, a trailer has followed.
Juror #2 stars Toni Collette, Nicholas Hoult, Kiefer Sutherland and Zoey Deutch. The film is “set during a murder trial where one of the jurors slowly realises he killed the victim in a reckless-driving accident and tries to save the defendant without incriminating himself.”
Eastwood has been pretty prolific in recent years, given that we’ve got 2018’s The Mule, 2019’s Richard Jewell and 2021’s Cry Macho. The premise for this one looks interesting and the ensemble cast is pretty special. The end of year release means that Warner Bros’ marketing executives will have enjoyed a busy end to the year as well, what with BeetleJuice Beetlejuice having just released, not to mention Joker: Folie À Deux on the way.
Tracking for the latter film is looking a bit less sure-footed of late, so we’re hoping that while trying to push that big tentpole pic, Eastwood’s final film still gets the promotion that it deserves. It would be lovely to see the film get some awards love, or even better, audience love as a tribute to a legend of the business who has given us so many classic films both in front of the camera and behind it.
Juror #2 arrives on November 1st. Here’s that trailer below.
