Ahead of its imminent release on 8th September, you can see the full trailer for Disney’s Pinocchio right here.
If you happen to be a fan of the Pinocchio story, then great days are ahead. As well as Guillermo del Toro and Netflix’s stop motion-animated version that’s underway, there’s also the live action Robert Zemeckis adaptation of the story coming to us very soon courtesy of Disney. That version has twinkly-eyed Tom Hanks starring as tailor Geppetto, along with Joseph Gordon-Levitt voicing Jiminy Cricket, Cynthia Erivo as the Blue Fairy and Lorraine Bracco, Luke Evans and Keegan-Michael Key all featuring too.
Disney is releasing the film on September 8th, to coincide with the Disney+ Day event, and it will appear on the streaming platform then. Robert Zemeckis has directed the film, which is of course a remake of the studio’s classic 1940 animated feature.
Disney’s version of the tale is the first of the two upcoming Pinocchio's to be released, and you can catch the trailer for the movie below.
