Emerald Fennell’s next film as director, Saltburn, is set to get its UK premiere at the London Film Festival in October, here are the details

Saltburn is the eagerly anticipated new film from Promising Young Woman director Emerald Fennell, and it has now been confirmed that the film will receive its UK premiere at the BFI London Film Festival on the 4th October.

The plot follows “student Oliver (Barry Keoghan) who, struggling to find his place at Oxford University, finds himself drawn into the world of the charming and aristocratic Felix Catton (Jacob Elordi), who invites him to Saltburn, his eccentric family’s sprawling estate, for a summer never to be forgotten.”.

As well as featuring a reunion between Fennell and Promising Young Woman star Carey Mulligan, also in the cast are Rosamund Pike, Richard E. Grant, Archie Madekwe and Alison Oliver.

Fennell writes and directs.

Saltburn will be released in UK cinemas on the 24th November. The full line up for the 2023 BFI London Film Festival will be released on the 31st August.
