As the Empire chain lingers in administration, it’s now been confirmed that eight individual sites are going up for sale.
It’s been several weeks now since the Empire Cinema chain went into administration, with the immediate loss of six of its multiplexes around the UK.. There are currently seven that are still actively trading: two Tivoli cinemas, and five Empires.
Now, administrators CBRE have been put into place to sell the existing sites, that will cover two of its Tivoli cinemas, five multiplexes, and one standalone site.
The venues for sale are:
Tivoli Bath
Tivola Cheltenham
Empire Sutton
Empire Ipswich
Empire Birmingham
Empire High Wycombe
Empire Clydebank
Empire Sutton Coldfield
The cinemas are available for individual sale, or in one block to existing operators. CBRE inevitably is talking already about interest already, and we’ll keep you posted as we hear more.
