Adam Driver takes on fearsome dinosaurs, armed only with a blaster and great hair. Here’s the latest trailer.

Sony has released a longer trailer for 65, the science fiction action thriller that will see Adam Driver contend with the dangers of a prehistoric Earth. It comes from the writers of A Quiet Place, Scott Beck and Bryan Woods who have penned the project and are also directing. Sam Raimi is producing and Danny Elfman has composed the score.

The first trailer caused a stir online when it released in December, drawing comparisons to Planet Of The Apes and Jurassic Park, if they were all-out guns-a-blazin’ action movies. Plus, with Beck, Woods and Raimi involved, there’s always the chance that we might get something a little spikier than the trailer suggests and that would certainly be a welcome surprise. In the film, Driver will be joined by a pretty slim cast by the looks of it, including Ariana Greenblatt and Chloe Coleman.

Here’s the synopsis: ‘After a catastrophic crash on an unknown planet, pilot Mills (Adam Driver) quickly discovers he’s actually stranded on Earth… 65 million years ago. Now, with only one chance at rescue, Mills and the only other survivor, Koa (Ariana Greenblatt), must make their way across an unknown terrain riddled with dangerous prehistoric creatures in an epic fight to survive.’

The film is slated for a March 10th, 2023 release in cinemas. That’s one week before our friends in the US are slated to get it. In the meantime, you can acclimatise yourself for all of those nail-biting dino showdowns by checking out the trailer below.
