James Gunn’s Superman: Legacy is gets closer to production, as more cast members are confirmed for the movie.
Last month, David Corenswet was announced as the latest iteration of Clark Kent/Superman, with Rachel Brosnahan as Lois Lane.
Further cast members have now been confirmed for James Gunn’s Superman: Legacy. Anthony Carrigan, who was recently nominated for an Emmy for his work in Bill Hader’s terrific comedy Barry, will play the classic DC character Metamorpho, aka archeologist-turned-hero Rex Mason. Isabela Merced will play Hawkgirl; Edi Gathegi as Mister Terrific; and Gunn stalwart Nathan Fillion as will play macho Green Lantern Guy Gardner.
It is set to be the first film in Gunn and Peter Safran’s ten year plan for DC, which will also include Supergirl: Woman Of Tomorrow, Batman: Brave And The Bold, Swamp Thing and The Authority.
Superman: Legacy will be released on 25th July 2025, we’ll keep you updated as we hear more.
