Heading briefly to cinemas in the US later this month is a new documentary about the quite wonderful Galaxy Quest. The movie celebrates its 20th birthday this year, and we covered it in a Film Stories podcast back in August (you can find that here).
But headlining the birthday celebrations is a new documentary feature, running to 95 minutes, that features many of the key cast, crew and fans of the movie. The late Alan Rickman, sadly, isn’t part of it, but director Dean Parisot and stars Tim Allen, Sigourney Weaver, Sam Rockwell, Rainn Wilson, Missi Pyle, Justin Long and more all give interviews for the film.
The film is called Never Surrender: A Galaxy Quest Documentary, and we’ve got two things to show you. First is a clip that’s just been released to promote the film’s one day date in US cinemas on November 26th, the second is the trailer that landed last month.
