Finn Wolfhard (pictured) and Billy Bryk are teaming up, making their feature directorial debuts at the ages of 19 and 22, respectively.
Two stars of 2021’s Ghostbusters: Afterlife are teaming up to co-direct the teen horror, Hell Of A Summer for 30West. Whilst plot specifics are currently being kept under wraps for the moment, it has been confirmed that the duo will also appear in front of the camera as well, alongside The White Lotus’ Fred Hechinger.
Little else is known about the project at this point, apart from that it is set in contemporary times and that shooting is set to begin in Canada as soon as this month. The film’s producers are Hechinger, Jason Bateman, Michael Costigan, and Jay Van Hoy.
Whilst both actors are very young to shoulder such a responsibility, Wolfhard in particular has no shortage of experience on sets, having practically grown up in the midst of shooting various seasons of Stranger Things. It will be intriguing to see what the pair bring to the project and we’ll let you know more on this one as we hear it.
