Jeff Goldblum stars as Zeus in Netflix’s upcoming comedy series, Kaos. Take a look at the latest trailer below.

Netflix has released a brand new trailer for their upcoming series, Kaos, starring Jeff Goldlbum. As the title implies, it looks deliciously chaotic.

Take a look at the Kaos trailer below.

This is the second teaser trailer Netflix has released for Kaos. You can watch the first one here. In all honesty, we prefer these 1-2 minute trailers over the regular ones that seem to spoil everything. Not pointing any fingers, but the latest Alien: Romulus trailer showed most of the film.

Back to Kaos. Jeff Goldblum plays Zeus, king of the gods, but it seems he’s going through a bit of a crisis. Zeus becomes convinced that his reign is coming to an end and someone is out to get him.

Kaos consists of eight episodes and all of them will drop at once, as is the Netflix way. Charlie Covell is credited as creator and has written all episodes, except for episode 6 which is written by Georgia Christou.

Here’s the official, very long synopsis: Jeff Goldblum plays Zeus: King of the Gods, ruler of the world. Heā€™s cruel, stylish and all-powerful.

That is, until he’s not. From BAFTA winning screenwriter and showrunner Charlie Covell (The End Of The F***ing World), KAOS is a bold, darkly comic, contemporary take on Greek mythology: exploring love, power, and life in the underworld.

Having long enjoyed his status as king of the gods, Zeus’s reign has never been truly threatened. That is until he wakes up one morning and discovers a wrinkle on his forehead. Believing it to be the harbinger of an ancient prophecy which foretells his destruction, neurosis sets in: Zeus becomes convinced his fall is coming. As his paranoia takes hold, the god of gods ā€“ seeing signs everywhere ā€“ starts to dangerously self-destruct.

And he’s right to be worried. Zeus’s one time friend and now prisoner, Prometheus, is orchestrating a plan to bring him down. The plan involves three disparate humans, all of whom are totally unaware of their cosmic significance or the part they must play in saving the world. No pressure. (Some pressure.)

Kaos will hit Netflix on 29th August.
