The release of John Wick: Chapter 4 draws nearer, and there’s a brand new trailer that showcases the absolute carnage we can expect from it.
John Wick, the assassin sometimes called Baba Yaga, is back for a fourth action-packed film, and there’s now a second full trailer teasing some absolute carnage.
The end of John Wick: Chapter 3 – Parabellum saw Keanu Reeves’ title character shot by Ian McShane’s Winston. Surprisingly still alive, he agrees to team up with the Bowery King (Lawrence Fishburne) against the High Table – an organisation of Crime Lords who control the criminal underworld and want Wick dead.
To gain his freedom in the upcoming John Wick: Chapter 4, the assassin must challenge a powerful new foe – the Marquis de Gramont (Bill Skarsgård) – to single combat and win.
From the trailer, it seems there’ll be plenty of other fights besides that one. The amount of force used against him has increased with each film, and this time it looks like he’ll consistently be up against at least ten other people at any one time. The trailer hints at some very cool car chases, too.
Franchise regulars Ian McShane, Lawrence Fishburne and Lance Reddick return for this sequel, as well as director Chad Stahelski. We also get a look at new supporting character Killa – played by Scott Adkins.
