Sylvester Stallone is back in Philadelphia for a new project – and speculation continues about Rocky 7.
A couple of months back, Sylvester Stallone suggested that whilst he wouldn’t be appearing in a third Creed film, he did have an idea for a potential Rocky 7. That the studio was interested in him doing the movie too, and the project was going to be political, “right on the edge” and “deals also with a foreign country”. Those were quotes from an interview with Collider.
That was back in September whilst he was promoting Rambo: Last Blood. But now he’s taken to his social media account to deliver another sizeable Rocky-related hint.
He posted that he’s back in Philadelphia, and filmed a short video in front of the Rocky statue that remains up in the city. ““We’re doing something pretty extraordinary, you will be seeing it in a few months”, he says to the camera, before introducing us to said statue.
Here’s his post…
Back in Philadelphia right now on this 33° freezing morning. We are doing something that is going to be VERY special and you’ll be seeing it soon, so hang in there and go for it!!! #KeepPunching pic.twitter.com/xokvSaYVFx

Of course, it could just be some kind of special or celebration that’s being put together. But given his Rocky 7 chatter just a few months ago, who knows? It seems pretty clear he’s up to something Rocky-related, and we wait and see what happens next…
