The Gallows has a sequel, and it’s arriving in January 2020.
2015’s horror movie The Gallows proved to be a small hit, telling the story of a bunch of students putting on a school play. A production, as it happened, to mark the 20th anniversary of a horrific accident in a similar play. Turns out said students would have been advised not to press ahead with the idea, as you might expect.
The movie was written and directed by Travis Cluff and Chris Lofing, and now the pair have put a follow-up together. The Gallows Act II sees the pair return with another student finding themselves drawn into the world of a cursed play.
The film is getting a UK release on January 6th 2020, with Lionsgate releasing it on DVD over here. And we’ve got the official trailer and synopsis right here.
