Andor, Moon Knight, Obi Wan and The Falcon And The Winter Soldier are getting a 4K Ultra HD Blu-ray release in the UK.
As we reported a week or two back, Disney has been lining up another bunch of its Disney+ Marvel and Star Wars TV shows for physical media release. It started this last year with a bunch of limited edition 4K Ultra HD Blu-ray Steelbooks that appeared to go down rather well, and it’d been announced that more titles were heading to the US at least.
Well, we can now confirm that those releases are also coming to the UK as well, and we’ve got dates for them as well. All four of them! Best stop waffling on and get to the point.
This particular run kicks off then with a bit of Marvel, in the shape of The Falcon And The Winter Soldier. The UK release date for that is 20th May, and there’s more information on it here (and you can order it at the same link).
June then comments with Star Wars, with the 4K disc release of the show Star Wars: Obi Wan You can expect that on 3rd June. Details on that are here.
Marvel’s Moon Knight is the second of the June releases, with a street date of 17th June. More information on that here, where you can order it too.
Last of all in this run comes probably the most acclaimed of the Star Wars TV shows, Andor. That’s arriving on 1st July, and you can find more on that here.
It’s four releases in all, but they’re arriving slightly earlier in the US. Still, we get collectable packaging, Steelbook casing, and lots of extra features too. Yay for physical media.
We listed the full extras all the way over here. Here’s hoping more and more releases go from streaming to physical media in the year or two ahead. We’ll keep you posted as we hear more.
