Vertigo jumps into the 4K Ultra HD Blu-ray market in the UK, with films such as Dogma, Slither and Dogtooth. More here.
As much as some will happily aim doom and gloom in the direction of physical media, the truth remains that it’s still worth a fair amount of cash every year. That, and the 4K Ultra HD Blu-ray format continues to grow.
While some big studios are thus giving disc releases relatively short shrift, others are happily jumping in their place. Vertigo Entertainment, for one, who in 2025 has decided to launch a brand new 4K Ultra HD Blu-ray label in the UK.
The label will go by the name of Visions Home Video, and it’ll be used to bring to 4K disc a bunch of the hundreds of titles in the Vertigo library.
As per Screen International, the first release is set to be a 4K Ultra HD Blu-ray of Kevin Smith’s Dogma. That’s set to arrive next February. Fast behind it will be Good Boy, the horror movie with the dog, that we talked about here.
Rounding off a trio of February 2026 4K Ultra HD Blu-ray debut of Yorgos Lanthimos’ feature Dogtooth. And already in production for later in 2026 is James Gunn’s 2006 feature, Slither.
