Eddie Murphy adds another film to his slate with The Pick Up, and details of the movie have landed.
It’s a busy year for Eddie Murphy, You People was released in January, with the fourth instalment of the Beverly Hills Cop series due to land on Netflix this year. He’s also busy filming Christmas comedy Candy Cane Lane.
He’s added another film onto his slate with The Pick Up, which will see Murphy play a man who becomes smitten with a woman and is subsequently involved in a heist.
Tim Story is set to direct from a spec script by Kevin Burrows and Matt Mider that was reportedly won by Amazon Studios in a bidding war, one that ended with a seven figure deal. Murphy’s regular collaborator John Davis, along with John Fox, will produce through Davis Entertainment. We’ll keep you updated as we hear more.
