The Fast & Furious team will be filming in Edinburgh in September.
After a brief sojourn for this summer’s Hobbs & Shaw spin-off movie, the Fast & Furious franchise is back on its main track for next year’s Fast & Furious 9. In the cast for the film are Vin Diesel, Michelle Rodriguez, Jordana Brewster, Tyrese Gibson, Chris ‘Ludacris’ Bridges, Charlize Theron and Helen Mirren.
Shooting began earlier in the summer, with initial filming taking place in London. Now we learn that the production is set to move to Edinburgh for key scenes in the movie. The plan is to shoot those sequences in September.
Justin Lin is back in the director’s chair on the series for the first time since Fast & Furious 6. The movie is set for release next summer.
