David Robert Mitchell’s It Follows is coming to 4K Ultra HD Blu-ray in the UK at the end of August: more information here.

Comfortably one of the best horror movies of the last decade – for this coffee-absorbing, steely human being anyway – is It Follows, a film that completely caught me unaware and got right under my skin.

Someone at the label Second Sight appears to be a fan too, as David Robert Mitchell’s film, that stars Maika Monroe, has been given the 4K Ultra HD Blu-ray treatment. Pretty posh treatment too: two different variants are going on sale.

The Limited Edition includes a 150 page book with lots of essays in it, as well as art cards and a rigid slipcase. You can find more on that, and order a copy here.

The regular edition meanwhile still features all of these extra features, that are also to be found in the limited edition set. Definitely haven’t copied and pasted this bit, like a human AI machine…

Dual format edition including both UHD and Blu-ray with main feature and bonus features on both discs

Second Sight Films 4K master produced in conjunction with the original post production facility

Approved by Director David Robert Mitchell

UHD presented in Dolby Vision HDR

New Dolby Atmos audio track produced by Second Sight Films
