For its 35th birthday, Scrooged – starring Bill Murray – is getting a 4K Ultra HD Blu-ray release for the first time. Details here.
Paramount Pictures continues to dig into its archive and support physical media in a way that’d be lovely if one or two other studios managed to do. This time, it’s picked one of its Christmas favourites too, as the late Richard Donner’s festive comedy, Scrooged, is celebrating its 35th birthday.
Starring Bill Murray and Karen Allen, the film will be arriving on 4K Ultra HD Blu-ray for the very first time on November 6th of this very year, with some welcome extra features as well.
The film is available for preorder now, and you can find more information on the release – and order a copy – right here.
Here’s that extra features list…
- Commentary by Director Richard Donner
- A Christmas To Remember
- Updating Ebenezer
- Bringing The Ghosts To Life
- The Look Of Scrooged
- On The Set With Bill Murray
- ShoWest Clips With Bill Murray
Must end with some gag about ‘yule love it’. Can’t forget that bit.
