Tim Blake Nelson will play the main antagonist in Captain America: New World Order, and here are a few more details.

Big changes have been afoot in the world of Captain America since an elderly Steve Rogers sat on that bench in Avengers: EndgameFalcon vs Winter Soldier continued the story of Sam Wilson aka Falcon on Disney+, as he prepares to lead what is now known as Captain America: New World Order.

Anthony Mackie is Sam/Falcon, while Nelson is reprising his role as The Leader from the 2008 Edward Norton Incredible Hulk film. Also joining the cast is Unorthodox's Shira Haas as Sabra, an Israeli superhero from the Hulk comics who is a mutant with enhanced strength, speed and agility. They will share the screen with returning Falcon And Winter Soldier actors Danny Ramirez as Joaquin Torres, a military intelligence friend of Sam’s, and Carl Lumbly as Isaiah Bradley, the bitter former Captain America.

Julius Onah, who previously helmed 2018’s The Cloverfield Paradox, will direct the film, from a screenplay by Falcon And The Winter Soldier showrunner Malcolm Spellman and staff writer Dalan Musson.

It hasn’t yet begun production, but Captain America: New World Order is currently scheduled for released on the 3rd May 2024.
