Brandon Cronenberg heads back behind the camera for Infinity Pool, and here’s the first trailer for the movie.

With David Cronenberg releasing Crimes Of The Future in 2022 to critical acclaim earlier this year, though sadly without the box office receipts to match, his son Brandon is also stepping back into the director’s chair with Infinity Pool.

The synopsis for the new movie reads as follows:

While staying at an isolated island resort, James and Em are enjoying a perfect vacation of pristine beaches, exceptional staff, and soaking up the sun. But guided by the seductive and mysterious Gabi, they venture outside the resort grounds and find themselves in a culture filled with violence, hedonism, and untold horror. A tragic accident leaves them facing a zero tolerance policy for crime.

Alexander Skarsgard and Cleopatra Coleman star as James and Am, with Mia Goth as Gabi. Cronenberg wrote and directed the film for Elevation Pictures.

Infinity Pool is being released in the US on the 27th January, with a UK release yet to be announced. But we do have a trailer to feast our eyes on. And it looks like this…
