Fish out of water comedy A Little White Lie is heading to streaming soon, starring Michael Shannon and Kate Hudson: here’s the trailer.
A Little White Lie, based on the book by Chris Belden, has been turned into an ensemble comedy.
The official synopsis reads as follows:
Shriver, a down-on-his-luck New York City handyman who has never read a book in his life, is mistaken for a famous writer that has been in hiding for over 20 years. With nothing to lose, he accepts an invitation to attend a college literary festival and finds himself surrounded by adoring fans and an English professor who captures his heart. Shriver must do whatever it takes for his shot at love.
Michael Shannon plays Shriver opposite Kate Hudson. The cast also includes Zach Braff, Kate Linder, Aja Naomi King, Da’Vine Joy Randolph and Don Johnson.
Michael Maren directs and adapted the screenplay.
A Little White Lie is heading to streaming in the US in March, with a UK release date still to be announced, we’ll keep you updated as we hear more.
