Feast your eyes on the full trailer for the upcoming Guillermo del Toro take on Pinnochio, ahead of its release next month.

Guillermo del Toro’s stop-motion version of Pinocchio is due to arrive on Netflix next month and now the full trailer has arrived to give us a clear look of what to expect from the highly-anticipated adaptation.

We already know that del Toro has chosen to ground the fairy tale in the real world, using a World War II setting that has proven to be creatively fertile ground for the filmmaker in the past. Production design has always been one of the most stellar aspects of del Toro’s filmmaking and the stop motion aesthetic of Pinocchio has the same beautiful texture to it that we’ve come to expect from an of his films.

The production has been co-directed by The PJs’ Mark Gustafson, whilst the voice cast is deeply impressive with the likes of Gregory Mann, Ewan McGregor, David Bradley, Finn Wolfhard, Cate Blanchett, John Turturro, Ron Perlman, Christoph Waltz, and Tilda Swinton all featuring. The film is set to release on Netflix on December 9th but ahead of that date, you can catch the trailer below.
