We don’t know when it’s on Disney+ yet, but we do know that Pixar’s Inside Out 2 will be on 4K Ultra HD Blu-ray in the UK next month.
Giving you an unwelcome glimpse into my inbox, there haven’t been many weeks since Disney unleashed Pixar’s Inside Out 2 into cinemas that I haven’t received a press release about its astonishing box office performance. Confession: I’ve not read most of them, but the gist is that the sequel – a film I liked – has gone on to become one of the highest grossing animated films of all time. Possibly the highest grossing, but, like I said, I didn’t read them all.
Inevitably, Disney will be prepping the movie for a Disney+ release over the next month or two, although the studio hasn’t yet announced a date for that. Why would it, when it’s still coining it in over the school holidays in cinemas?
However, we do now know when the physical media release of Inside Out 2 is landing, in the UK at least.
The date to mark in your calendar? Monday 30th September. Thus far, the 4K Ultra HD Blu-ray and 4K Ultra HD Blu-ray Steelbook iterations have gone up for order.

The disc has gone up for preorder now, and the DVD and Blu-ray versions can’t be far behind. For now, we’ll leave you with the synopsis of the movie which, apparently, has made rather a lot of money (the movie, not the synopsis)…
