Homelander is up to no good once again in the new season of The Boys. Watch the first The Boys season 4 trailer here.

It’s been a long wait for The Boys season 4. Season 3, which aired in the summer of 2022, ended on a violent note that we won’t spoil here.

The wait is almost over as The Boys season 4 is set to launch on 13 June and we’ve not got a first look at the season, courtesy of Prime Video.

Take a look at the first The Boys season 4 trailer below.

Now that’s what I’m talking about! The first trailer, which clocks in at well over two minutes, gives us plenty of clues as to where we’re headed this season.

As expected, the season will deal with the aftermath of Homelander’s actions at the end of season 3. There are scenes of civil unrest, which are eerily similar to what’s been happening in the US lately. The first trailer also showcases the trademark gore and action that The Boys has become known for.

Karl Urban is also back as Billy the Butcher and he’s looking particularly forlorn, which is making me concerned for his future. We’re sincerely hoping that season four won’t be Butcher’s last, but we’ll have to wait until well into July to find out, presumably.

Urban and Starr are once again joined by Jack Quaid, Erin Moriarty, Jessie T Usher, Laz Alonso, Chace Crawford and Karen Fukuhara in the new season. Jeffrey Dean Morgan is also joining the cast, making him the second Supernatural alumni to join the series after Jensen Ackles played Soldier Boy in the series. Ackles is suspiciously missing from the cast list, but Soldier Boy is still alive, just in government lock-up.

The Boys season 4 will premiere on 13 June with three episodes and consecutive episodes following every Friday after that.
