Paramount+ has produced a sequel film to popular Nickelodeon sitcom Zoey 101 called Zoey 102, here’s the trailer

Following the huge success of its iCarly reboot, Paramount+ has produced a sequel to the hit early 2000s teen sitcom Zoey 101. The series followed teenager Zoey Brooks as she navigated high school with her quirky friends at PCA.

The show was one of a series of hit teen sitcoms created by Dan Schnieder. In iCarly star Jennette McCurdy’s brilliant 2022 memoir I’m Glad My Mom Died, she made several shocking allegations against somebody she refers to as “The Creator”. Alexa Nikolas, who was a regular in the first series of Zoey 101, has likewise protested against child abuse at Nickelodeon.

Like the iCarly reboot, Schnieder has no involvement with the new film.

Zoey 102 will see the characters reunite for the wedding of Logan and Quinn.

Most of the series regulars are returning – Jamie Lynn Spears as Zoey, Erin Sanders as Quinn, Sean Flynn as Chase, Christopher Massey as Michael, Matthew Underwood as Logan, Abbey Wilde as Stacey and Jack Salvatore as Mark Del Figgalo.

Nancy Hower directed the film from a screenplay by Monica Sherer and Madeline Whitby, both of whom were regular writers for the latest iteration of All That, the Nickelodeon sketch show in which Lynn Spears first found fame.

Zoey 102 will stream on Paramount+ from the 27th July.
