Art the Clown is heading home for Christmas, with Terrifier 3 set for DVD, Blu-ray and 4K Ultra HD Blu-ray in the UK.

The absolute indie success story of the year is the third Terrifier film, cunningly entitled Terrifier 3. It’s a full-on slasher movie, as you’re more than likely aware, made and marketed for well, well under $10m all in. And its box office gross? In the US alone, it earned $53m, adding over $30m elsewhere in the world. In the UK, it’s been the biggest hit to take for its distributor, Signature Entertainment.

For writer/director Damien Leone it must be particularly satisfying, given that at one stage, he fell short of his crowdfunding target when trying to make the very first film. The story of that is down at the bottom there.

Given the festive backdrop of Terrifier 3 (a few thoughts on the film here), it’s little surprise that Signature is looking to make sure Art the Clown is under many people’s Christmas trees.

The firm will thus be releasing Terrifier 3 on DVD, Blu-ray and 4K Ultra HD Blu-ray in the UK on 16th December.

You can find the DVD listing here.

The Blu-ray is here.

The 4K Ultra HD Blu-ray disc is here.

A triple pack will also be available.

And while people are ordering that, and snapping up copies, Damien Leone now turns his attention to the already-confirmed Terrifier 4, that we’re likely to be getting in 2026. More on that in due course.

Here’s the story behind the original Terrifier film.

And we’ll leave you with the synopsis for Terrifier 3

Following the shocking events of Terrifier 2, survivor Sienna is plagued by disturbing visions and begins to realise there’s no escaping her past, or out-running Art the Clown. Sadistic Art the Clown (David Howard Thornton) is back, and he’s more twisted than ever, determined to shatter the peace Sienna and her family have fought so hard to regain – dragging them back into a depraved and insidious living nightmare. With a thirst for chaos and a mind twisted by pure evil, Art unleashes his biggest and bloodiest wave of horror yet, forcing Sienna to face her fears once more, in an epic fight for survival.
