There are scares in suburbia, as Netflix releases the trailer for British horror The Strays. 

As Enys Men comes to the end of it’s cinematic run, another UK set horror is about to be released. This one’s backed by Netflix, and goes by the name of The Strays.

The official synopsis for The Strays reads as follows:

Deputy head of a private school Neve  lives with her husband Ian, and teenage children, Sebastian and Mary in a nice house in an idyllic country town. But her carefully crafted upper-middle-class life begins to unravel with the arrival of two shadowy figures from her past, Abigail and Marvin.

Ashley Madekwe stars as Neve, with Justin Salinger as Ian, Samuel Small and Maria Almeida as Sebastian and Mary, alongside BAFTA winner Bukky Bakray as Abigail and Jorden Myrie as Marvin.

Actor Nathaniel Martello-White makes his feature directorial debut with the film, from his own script.

The Strays will be released on Netflix on the 22nd February. Watch the trailer below…
